Extensive experience in all aspects of training and curriculum development from needs analysis to design, instruction, and evaluation. Designed interactive videodisc and audio/video courses. Specialized in communications, diversity and intercultural training with emphasis on customized corporate and workplace language and literacy programs. Substantial background in seminar management, conference development, platform training, writing and editing.

  • Designed CD-ROM IVD courseware for computer hardware and software content at Applied Learning Inc. (now National Education Training Group):
    • worked with subject matter experts to design content
    • developed themes, motivations, objectives, content and presentation structures
    • worked with graphic artists to create story boards
    • created test items with remedial feedback for learners
    • worked with video production team to produce end product
  • Designed Data Recording for Production Support training program including Leader's Guide and train-the trainer seminar
  • Designed and taught customized corporate ESL/literacy programs:
    • conducted needs assessment for manufacturing and service companies
    • taught beginning, intermediate and advanced workplace ESL

  • Produced 1/2 hour educational video for national distribution.
  • Wrote Non-Native Speakers Guide that accompanies Business Today, published by McGraw-Hill
  • Developed Business English course materials, including a self-study pronunciation program (handbook and audio tape)
  • Selected and purchased $30,000 worth of supplementary materials and professional literature for a training resource library
  • Conducted needs analysis using principles of task analysis, performance outcomes, and other methods and measures based on client goals; designed job aids of critical procedures
  • Expanded national public information network by developing and implementing a series of regional recruitment and training conferences
  • Conducted media and promotional campaign training sessions for business and community organizations
  • Directed community college ESL program supervising 60 teachers serving 1200 students
